First photo of 'Ram Lalla' inside Ayodhya temple's sanctum sanctorum going viral

New Delhi: The new idol of Lord Ram was seated on its aasan (place) amidst chanting of mantra in the grand and divine Lord Ram temple being built at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya as a part of the ongoing ritual before consecration ceremony on January 22.

Covered with a veil, the first photo of the idol is going viral on the social media.

The 51-inch statue, carved by sculptor Arun Yogiraj, depicts Lord Ram as a five-year-old child in a standing posture. It is black in color and weighs two tonnes.

In the sanctum sanctorum Ganeshambika worship, Varun worship, Chaturvedokta Punyah reading, Matrika worship, Vasordhara worship (Saptaghrit Matrika worship), Ayuvya Mantra chanting, Nandi Shraddha, Acharyaadi Ritvik Varun, Madhupark worship, Mandap entry, Prithvi-Kurma-Anant-Varaha-Yagyabhumi worship, Digrakshan, Panchagavya Prokshan, Mandapam Vastu worship, Vaastu sacrifice, Mandap Sutra Veshtan, Milk stream, Water stream Karan, Shodash Stambh pujan took place.
