IS crackdown: Raids at 16 spots in UP and NCR, 5 arrested

Amroha: National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) in a joint operation has arrested five youths here on Wednesday in Lucknow for planning terror activities.

Inspector General of Police (ATS) Aseem Arun has confirmed about the arrest.The NIA team also seized huge quantity of explosives from them.They have also came to know from the arrested youths that they have set up a new module of ISIS named as Harkat-ul-harb-e-islam.

The new group was planning a new attack in NCR region for which they have collected the explosives.More arrests are likely to be made soon in this connection.(UNI)
