Shimla: Former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday tested positive for Coronavirus for second time in two months, and his condition was critical, official sources confirmed.
Mr Singh was shifted to Covid Makeshift hospital at IGMC from Cardiology unit at 1510 hrs.
Mr Singh's sample was sent for testing on June 10 as a nurse attending on him in the hospital unit contracted the virus three days ago.
A Medical bulletin released by IGMC Senior Medical Superintendent confirmed that his sample was found positive.
Earlier, Mr Singh was found positive for nCoV on April 12, 2021 and hospitalised for a month at Max Hospital, Mohali.
Virbhadra was discharged from Max Hospital on April 23, but shortly, he suffered from post covid complications after which he was admitted at IGMC.
Mr Singh is in IGMC for the last one month. (UNI)
