Hyderabad: All the four accused, aged below 26, in the Hyderabad young veterinarian's rape and murder case have been killed in a crossfire near Shadnagar on the outskirts of the city in the wee hours on Friday.
Large number of public gathered at the incident site and appreciated Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar for the police action against the accused and even celebrities and women wing organizations said police done ' justice to Disha'.
The four accused -- Mohammed Areef, Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu (both are truck drivers) Jollu Naveen and Jollu Shiva (both are cleaners) were shot dead by police on NH-44 near Hyderabad, just few meters away from the place where 26-year-old Disha was set ablaze.
"All the 4 accused in Hyderabad rape-murder case were killed in the crossfire in the wee hours of today'', reports quoting Mr Sajjanar said.
The police claim that the accused tried to escape when the crime scene was being reconstructed and were killed in the encounter.All the top senior police officials arrived at the encounter site.(UNI)
