Fuel prices decline by 19-20 p; Petrol at Rs 70.27 in this city

New Delhi: For the second straight day on Saturday, oil marketing firms reduced fuel prices as international crude oil prices touched fresh lows. In Delhi, petrol now costs Rs 70.27 per litre as compared to Friday's Rs 70.46 a litre while diesel is priced at Rs 64.19 per litre.While petrol is cheaper by 19-20 paise, diesel prices are decreased by up to 22 paise per litre across major cities in the country.
In Mumbai, petrol is being sold below Rs 76 mark and costs Rs 75.89 per litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 67.17 per litre. In Chennai, petrol can be availed at Rs 72.91 per litre and Rs 72.36 in Kolkata, while diesel in the two cities is retailing at Rs 67.77 and Rs 65.95 per litre, respectively.(UNI)
