Fuel prices hiked again, diesel crosses Rs 100 mark in Mumbai

Mumbai: The city on Saturday became the first metro in the country where diesel prices crossed Rs 100 per litre after the prices were hiked again.

Post price hike, diesel in Mumbai is now available at Rs 100.29 per litre, while the same was available in Delhi at Rs 99.47 per litre.

As per the fuel retailers, petrol price was hiked by 30 paise per litre while diesel price was hiked by 35 paise a litre.

The fuel rates reached record high due to hike in fuel rates for the straight fifth day.

The petrol price in Delhi rose to Rs 103.84 per litre while the same was available in Mumbai at Rs 109.83 a litre. (UNI)
