Kozhikode: The All Kerala Self Financing Schools Federation (AKSFSF) today announced to grant a paid holiday to teachers during their menstrual cycle in the state.
Announcing the decision, AKSFSF President Ramadas Kadirur said more than two lakh teachers in private sector would be beneficiaries of the decision. The federation also decided to appoint transgenders, who fulfilled eligibility criteria, in its schools across the state, he added. (UNI)
