Haryana BJP expels rebel contesting against CM Nayab Saini  7 others also penalised

Chandigarh/New Delhi: A BJP rebel contesting as an independent candidate against Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in the Ladwa constituency and seven other dissidents challenging official party candidates were on Sunday expelled from the party, a leader said.

Saini’s challenger Sandeep Garg and former ministers Ranjit Chautala and Bachan Singh Arya are among the prominent names in the list of expelled rebels issued by state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli ahead of the October 5 polls to pick a 90-member Assembly.

All the rebels, who are fighting against official party candidates as independents, have been expelled from for six years, said a BJP leader.

Others who faced action include Kehar Singh Rawat, Naveen Goyal, Zile Ram Sharma, Devendra Kadyan and Raddha Ahlawat.
