Home Minister Amit Shah discharged from AIIMS

New Delhi:Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after five days post Covid care follow up, an official source confirmed here.He was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi on late Saturday evening for a complete health check up before the beginning of the Parliament Session.
"Sri Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister was discharged from AIIMS, New Delhi after post- Covid care on August 30. As per the advice given at discharge, he has now been admitted for complete medical checkup before Parliament session for 1-2 days," the AIIMS on September 13 said in a  statement.
 
As per the AIIMS, Mr Shah was admitted to the hospital at around 2300 hrs on Saturday.
The 55-year-old leader had tested positive for the virus on August 2 when he was admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
 
He was discharged on August 14 from Medanata Hospital and went for home isolation. However, on August 18, he was admitted to the AIIMS following a complain of "fatigue and body ache".Mr Shah was discharged from the hospital on August 31 when he fully recovered, the AIIMS said in a earlier statement.(UNI)
