IAF celebrates 87th raising day at Hindon air base

Hindon: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is celebrating its 87th raising day at Hindon Air Base here on Tuesday.The IAF will conduct scores of air maneuvers, including air drills of both vintage aircraft and modern fleet.

The air display commenced with flag-bearing sky divers of the famous Akash Ganga team dropping out of an AN-32 aircraft in their colourful canopies.

The IAF was founded on October 8, 1932, and the force has participated in numbers of crucial wars and landmark missions.(UNI)
