India’s COVID tally soars to 1,82,143 with single day spike of 8380 cases

New Delhi: With the highest ever jump of infections with 8380 cases, India’s COVID tally jumped above 1.8 lakh on Sunday morning.

According to the Health Ministry, the total confirmed cases in the country are now 182143.

The death toll has crossed 5 k mark with 193 more people succumbing to the infection since Saturday, taking the nation’s death count to 5164.

Meanwhile, cases under active medical supervision have now once again inched to 90,000 pan India, with the figure now standing at 89995.

On a positive note, 4614 more patients were recovered taking total number of cured and discharged patients to 86984. (UNI)
