New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has stopped attending public functions fearing infections as he is suffering from a kidney ailment and may have to undergo a surgery.
According to sources, doctors from All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are attending him at his residence and tests are going on.
Sources said the reports of medical tests are expected by Friday and only then the doctors will be able to decide whether Mr Jaitley required surgery.
Sixty five-year-old Jaitley is not attending office since Monday. He even skipped taking oath after being re-elected as Rajya Sabha MP from Uttar Pradesh. (UNI)
