Jammu and Kashmir: Army arrests militant with war-like stores in Sopore

Srinagar: Security forces apprehended a suspected militant who was tasked to deliver a magnetic Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) with electric detonators at the orchards of Sopore township of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials sources said on Sunday.

They said on a specific information about the movement of suspicious individuals, the Kilo force of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) established a Check Post Grid at Shangarund Chowk, MRF Chowk and Barat Kalan Chowk in Sopore.

On movement of a suspicious individual on Chak Barat - Shagarund road axis, one suspected militant with War- like stores who was tasked to deliver a weapon, magnetic IEDs along with electric detonators at Chak Barat orchards was held, they added.
