Judge’s wife, son shot at by security guard in Gurugram

Gurugram: The wife and son of an Additional Sessions Judge were shot at by their gunman near Arcadia market in Sector 49 here on Saturday.

The gunman drove the mother-son duo to market and fired at them when they stepped out of the car. He committed the crime in the presence of a large number of people. The woman sustained bullet injuries in her chest while her son was shot in the head. Both were rushed to a nearby private hospital but shifted to Medanta Hospital due to serious injuries.

The police have nabbed the gunman, identified as Head Constable Mahipal (32), from Gurgaon-Faridabad road. Mahipal was posted with the family for the past two years. (UNI)
