A shocking incident has come to light from Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, where a stalker faced severe consequences for harassing a young woman. The accused had allegedly been following the girl daily, grabbing her forcefully and troubling her. Fed up with the constant harassment, the girl finally fought back and bit off half of his tongue. The injured man was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The girl has also filed a complaint with the police, who are waiting for the man to recover so they can arrest him.
What Happened?
The incident took place in a village in the Bilhaur area of Kanpur. The accused, Champi, is a married man and father of two. Despite this, he had been stalking a village girl for several days. She had warned him multiple times, but Champi continued his harassment.
On Monday, the girl had gone to the fields to collect soil when Champi quietly followed her. He grabbed her in the field and tried to forcibly kiss her. The girl struggled to push him away, and in a moment of opportunity, she bit down on his tongue—severing half of it. Champi immediately started bleeding heavily and collapsed on the ground, screaming in pain.
Family Allegations and Police Investigation
After the incident, the girl informed her brothers about what had happened. Champi’s family also arrived at the spot and accused the girl’s brothers of cutting his tongue. However, police investigation revealed that her brothers were not even in the village at the time.
The police then sent the injured Champi to Bilhaur Government Hospital, from where he was referred to Kanpur Medical College.
Bilhaur Police Station in-charge, Ashok Kumar Saroj, confirmed that Champi had been harassing the girl for a long time. When he tried to forcibly assault her, she bit his tongue in self-defense. An FIR has been registered based on the girl's complaint, and the accused will be taken into custody once he recovers.
