Karnataka HORROR! Man Ties Up Mother, Slits Her Throat for Refusing To Give Money for Liquor

A horrific crime has come to light from Tulasigeri village in Bagalkot taluk, Karnataka, where a 28-year-old man brutally murdered his mother after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol.

The accused, identified as Venkatesh Girisagar, allegedly tied up his 58-year-old mother, Shavakka Girisagar, and slit her throat inside their rented home. According to police, Venkatesh frequently fought with his mother over money and was known to be addicted to alcohol.

On Thursday night, he reportedly came home drunk and once again demanded money. When his mother refused, he became violent — tying her hands and legs, gagging her mouth with a cloth, and then killing her with a sharp weapon before fleeing the scene.

Alert neighbours who heard the commotion informed the police. Officers from the Kaladagi Police Station arrived at the spot and launched an investigation. Venkatesh was later arrested from a nearby bar.

Police have registered a case of murder, and further investigation is in progress.
