Kejriwal continues protest on 2nd day to demand end of IAS officers' strike

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and two ministers in the AAP Government -- Gopal Rai and Satyendar Jain -- continued to protest on second day on Tuesday over their demand to end the IAS Officers' strike and approval of the doorstep delivery of ration.
Mr Kejriwal along with three ministers in the AAP Government had gone to meet Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Monday evening at Raj Niwas around 1730 hrs with their demands.
Meanwhile, AAP Minister Satyendar Jain has started indefinite fast. ''Satyendar Jain starts indefinite fast,'' Mr Kejriwal tweeted.
 
The Delhi Chief Minister and the AAP Government ministers are at Raj Niwas since last evening and will stay in the waiting room in the LG House till the LG meets their demands.
''Day 2 of protest begins, as CM @ArvindKejriwal, DyCM @msisodia, @SatyendarJain and @AapKaGopalRai demand the end of IAS Officers strike and approval of Doorstep Delivery of Ration. They will stay in this waiting room till @LtGovDelhi meets their demands,''
AAP leader Atishi Marlena tweeted.
 
The AAP Government Ministers on Monday demanded Mr Baijal to direct the IAS officers who are on strike in Delhi for past four months to return to work.The Chief Minister and the AAP ministers also demanded the LG to approve Delhi government's doorstep delivery of ration scheme.(UNI)
