Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy called Union Minister Amit Shah a political chameleon and reincarnation of Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

"The fact that BJP-Bari Bootatike Party (A party full of hypocrisies) is a party of liars was made evident by your yapping lies. Amit Shah, you are a political chameleon! This is the true face of your party. You are a reincarnation of Joseph Goebbels. You are disgraceful," he said in a tweet.

Kumaraswamy's statement came after Shah called JDS and Congress "Parivaar Vadi (dynastic) and corrupt'' at a rally in Karnataka.

On "ATM" remarks on JDS, Kumaraswamy said, "You are alleging that Karnataka will become the ATM of the JDS party if we win. If JDS forms the government, it will become the ATM of the crores of Kannadigas. It will become the ATM of farmers, labourers, the oppressed, and the disabled."

He said the BJP government in the state is not 40 percent government, but 55 to 60 percent government. Isn’t Karnataka an ATM of your party? You must definitely know this. Why hides the truth?" Ex-CM asked.

On Shah's dynastic politics remark, Kumaraswamy questioned the presence of Shah's son Jay Shah in the BCCI.

"And regarding family politics; aren’t you aware of the extent of family politics in your party? Is your son any Cricket pundit? Why is he a part of BCCI? Does your son’s position satisfy the guidelines laid by the Supreme Court? Now tell me who’s ATM BCCI is?" he said. (UNI)
