Bengaluru:The Kumaraswamy led JD(S)-Congress Government on Friday won the vote of confidence in the Karnataka Assembly amidst walkout by the Bharatiya Janata Party members.
The motion of confidence was adopted by voice vote in the absence of BJP members who walked out soon after Leader of the Opposition responded to the remarks of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. He said that the party would hold a statewide Bandh on May 28 if the government did not waive of farmers loans to the tune of Rs.53,000 crore.(UNI)
