Lalu holds Nitish and Modi directly responsible for Srijan scam

Patna: RJD Chief Lalu Prasad today held Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi directly responsible for the nearly Rs 900 crore Srijan scam as they did not take any action against the scamsters despite having full knowledge about it.Taking to his official Twitter account to intensify his attack on the CM and his deputy over Srijan scam, Mr Prasad attacked them through his 11-point posers, which were posted in the microblogging site by him.

Mr Prasad asked, “Why did the chief minister not initiate any action against the scamsters for 10 years when the scam was taking place since 2006.Mr Kumar and Mr Modi are directly responsible in the matter”.The RJD chief said, “A chartered accountant Sanjeet Kumar, also a social worker had written a detailed letter to the chief minister on July 25, 2013 pointing out the misdeeds of Srijan Mahila Bank and embezzlement of government funds worth crores of rupees.(UNI)
