LeT militant, 3 associates arrested from Srinagar hospital

Srinagar: A Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant and his three associates were arrested by security forces from a government hospital here, official sources said on Sunday.
 
They said following specific information, security forces arrested a militant, identified as Wakeel Ahmad, from Bones and Joint Hospital in Srinagar on Saturday evening.

“Wakeel had reportedly come to the hospital for treatment,” they said, adding he was accompanied by three other persons, including a woman.

“A pistol and a grenade were recovered from them,” they said.

All the four persons, including the militant, were being questioned. Wakeel, a resident of Bijbehara, had reportedly joined LeT after he went missing on September 27 last year. (UNI)
