Srinagar: Security forces have launched a massive hunt to nab the militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT), responsible for the killing of three youths in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on late Monday evening."Preliminary investigation reveals complicity of LeT in the killing," a police spokesman said here on Tuesday morning.
He said a Pakistan resident and two local militants of the old town Baramulla are the principal suspects in these killing, adding, they are wanted in other cases also."We have started investigation into the case," the spokesman said.
Three youths below the age of 23 years were shot dead by gunmen at Iqbal Market, old town Baramulla late last evening. The deceased were identified as Asgar Sheikh, Haseeb Khan and Asif Sheikh.
According to a senior police officer, they were fired upon from very close range with AK rifle.
Meanwhile, official sources said the security forces conducted searches at several places during the night to nab the militants responsible for the attack.(UNI)
