Finally Congress got a chance to smile and it must thank Election Commission for that!

On tuesday, During the voting for 3 RS seats in Gujarat, there was a lot of cross voting as expected. In the high voltage elections political heavyweight Amit Shah's and Ahmed Patel's prestige was at stake.

Finally a big news came from Election Commission almost at the stroke of midnight and the news made Congress smile at long last!

Election Commission declared the votes of two Congress MLA's invalid. This means that the arithmetic has now bent in the favor of Congress. BJP and especially Amit Shah is not going to like it much. An anxious Shah was present at the Gujarat Election Commission office till late in night.

After the rejection of votes of Raghav Bhai Patel and Bhola Bhai Gohil, Ahmed Patel has clearly got an edge and now he is likely to go through to the RS. BJP's Balwant now most probably won't be able to make it.

This should not be seen as a matter of just one seat, as political might of national parties was at stake in the elections. And through out the day, a game of see-saw was being played between Congress and Election Commission!
