Magadh Express splits into two parts in Bihar (VIDEO)

Buxar: The 20802 Magadh Express split in two parts near Dharauli halt in between Dumraon and Turiganj railway stations on Haworth Delhi division on Sunday after the coupling of the train broke.
 
Railway sources said the train experienced a severe jerk when the coupling of the down train heading towards Islampur broke splitting it into two parts. The train suddenly stopped with jerks.

Inspector in-charge of Railway security forces Deepak Kumar reached the spot soon after the accident which occurred at around 11.07 AM. No injury has been reported in the accident.
 
The Assistant Station Master of Buxar, Himachal Pandey said plying of trains was disrupted on the said rail division. An engine has been sent from Buxar to bring the detached bogies to Raghunathpur station and the rest of the damaged coaches were being removed from the track.
 
Meanwhile, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway Sharswati Chandra said that the senior technical officers were rectifying the snag. He said an inquiry would be conducted to find out the exact reason for the incident.
