Ahmednagar: Four prisoners escaped from the Sangamner jail after breaking iron roads early this morning in the Sangamner jail in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.
The Sangamner Jail is located next to the Sangamner City Police Station. The four prisoners broke the iron rods and escaped. Police are on the run after inmates have escaped from jail.
Police teams have been left in different directions to arrest these accused. The Sangamner Jail administration's reputation has come to the fore again due to the escape of prisoners from the jail.
Sangamane Jail is currently serving many prisoners. Last night, as usual, three policemen were on duty. Even when the staff was under guard, the inmates decided to escape by cutting the prison yard. Prisoners Rahul Kale, Machindra Jadhav, Roshan Thapa Dadel and Anil Kale, who were serving sentences, managed to escape. The accused escaped from the jail in a very planned manner.
Police believe the inmates have escaped from jail, their rigging is foiled. The three men were assigned to guard the jail. He informed the senior officers that the prisoners had escaped from the jail.
