Maharashtra: 68-yr-old woman from Wardha passes Class X exam along with her grandson

Wardha: A 68-year-old woman from Jamni in Hinganghat taluka of the district has created a history of sort by appearing and passing the class X board examination along with her grandson.

Indutai Parmeshwar Borkar got 51 percent marks, while grandson Dheeraj got 75 percent.

This grandmother, who appeared for the examination by filling out form number 17, is being praised everywhere.

The grandmother and the grandson appeared for the examination at the same time and passed, a family member said on Thursday.

Indutai Borkar, who had completed her education only up to class VII, could not study further. But at the age of 68, she got a second chance from the first institute and she has succeeded in appearing for class X examination.
