Manohar Lal Khattar takes oath as CM of Haryana again

Chandigarh: After a nod by Haryana Governor Satyadev Narain Arya on Saturday Manohar Lal Khattar took oath as chief minister (BJP) and Dushyant Chautala of (JJP) took oath as deputy chief minister.
Earlier, Chief Minister Manohar Lal  Khattar along with JJP leader Dushyat Chautala and others,met the Governor and  to stake claim to form the next government. Union Minister Ravi Shankar  Prasad, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, state incharge of  party affairs Anil Jain were also present on the occasion.
       
After the meeting, Mr Khattar informed the mediapersons that the  Governor has invited them to form alliance government and asked to reach  Raj Bhawan at 1315 hrs on Sunday (Diwali day). He said that  swearing-in ceremony will take place at 1415 hrs and he will take oath  as the Chief Minister and added that JJP leader Dushyant Chautala would  also take oath as Deputy Chief Minister on the occasion.
 
When  confronted on how many MLAs would be inducted in council of ministers, Mr  Khattar said that the information in this connection would be shared  with media on Sunday after consultations with the senior  leaders of both the parties.
 
Earlier, Mr Khattar along with Mr Chautala met the Governor and submitted a list of 57 MLAs, including 40 from BJP, ten  from JJP and seven Independents. He also submitted the  resignations from the post of Chief Ministership and council of his  ministers of the outgoing government which were accepted by the  Governor. The Governor asked him to continue as Chief Minister till the  formation of new government.(UNI)
