Militant hideout busted in J&K: arms, ammunition recovered

Srinagar: Security forces on Thursday busted a militant hideout and recovered  arms and ammunition besides explosives in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said.

They said acting on a tip off, about militant hideout in Nagri Shopian, security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation. Later, Security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered explosives material for making Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).However, no one was arrested, they said, adding that further details are awaited.(UNI)
