Rewa:Nine passengers, including two women and a girl, died and 32 were injured one grievously. when a speeding bus rammed a stationary truck early Thursday in the vicinity of a bridge on the Gurh bypass. Those hurt have been admitted at the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
"The vehicle was en route to Sidhi and carrying approximately 50 people from Rewa, Sidhi and Jabalpur. Mist or the driver's drowsiness may have caused the collision. The driver is absconding. Eight of the deceased were identified as Shivani Patel, Shyamkali, Raghvendra Pandey, Ashok Singh, Vaibhav Patel, Krishnakant Tiwari, Sugreev Patel and Rajendra Singh," Inspector General of Police (Rewa Range) C Shekhar said.(UNI)
