New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday exuded confidence that the record turnout in the first phase of state assembly polls in Gujarat would translate into BJP's victory.
'Thank you, Gujarat! Gratitude to my sisters and brothers of Gujarat for voting in record numbers. However, the total voting percentage is 3 percent less than that of 2012 state assembly elections (71.3). The second phase of voting is scheduled on 14th of December and result will be out on 18th December. (UNI)
