Bhopal:Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Umang Singhar who is considered close to Congress stalwart Jyotiraditya Scindia and has opened a front against Rajya Sabha Member-cum-erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh fired another broadside on Tuesday by levelling grave allegations against Mr Singh.
"In order to be rid of the pressure that Mr Singh is exerting on the dispensation, I dispatched a communication on Monday to Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi. I have sought time from Chief Minister Kamal Nath vis-a-vis this entire sequence of events.
Mr Singh even perpetrates blackmail, is running departments as a power centre, gets bureaucrats such as commissioners and collectors transferred, conducts meetings himself and is adamant like children. His rhetoric actually damages the party," Mr Singhar averred during an interaction with the press in the state capital.Meanwhile, Mr Nath arrived at Mantralaya.(UNI)
