Mumbai: MNC office executive arrested for blackmailing, molesting colleague in his birthday celebration

Mumbai: An office executive of a multi-national company (MNC) was arested by city police for allegedly threatening his colleague with viral circulation of her obscene photos and also extorting money from her, an official said here on Monday.

According to details, accused, identified as Naveen Kumar Singh (28), was arrested by MIDC Police following a complaint of extortion and molestation.

Four years ago, Singh invited her to his birthday celebration and during the celebration, he allegedly forced himself on her, sexually assaulted her and secretly took explicit photos of her on his mobile phone.

Later, accused started blackmailing her, following which, a complaint was lodged and accused was arrested.
