Puducherry: Muslims in the Union Territory of Puducherry today celebrated Bakrid with religious fervor and enthusiasm. People, clad in new dresses, thronged different mosques to have niskar to mark the occasion.
They also exchanged pleasantries after the niskar. Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, his Cabinet Colleagues, Lok Sabha member R Radhakrishnan and leaders of different political parties greeted the people on the occasion. (UNI)
