NTR’s son and ex-MP Nandamuri Harikrishna dies in road accident

Hyderabad: TDP Founder NT Rama Rao’s son and former MP and actor Nandamuri Harikrishna died as the car in which he was travelling overturned on Andanki-Narketpally National Highway near Anneparthy in Nalgonda district in the wee hours on Wednesday.
 
Two others also were travelling with Harikrishna in the vehicle.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s brother-in-law Harikrishna, was proceeding to Kavali in Nellore district from here to attend marriage of his fan. The car hit a road divider before it turned turtle. Harikrishna received serious head injuries, Police said.

He was immediately rushed to Kamineni hospital in Narketpalli where he breathed his last at around 0730 hours after doctors attended on him.

The former MP was himself driving the vehicle when the accident occurred.

Harikrishna was born on September 2, 1956 in Nimmakuru of Andhra Pradesh.

From his first marriage (wife Lakshmi), he has two sons, Janaki Ram and Kalyan Ram and a daughter Suhasini.

From another marriage (second wife Shalinee) he has a son, Taraka Ram who was later renamed as NTR Junior by his grandfather, N T Rama Rao himself.

Both Kalyan Ram and Jr. NTR are well noted Tollywood actors in the Telugu industry.
