One more mob lynching, car driver beaten to death after his vehicle mows down three children

Patna: A car driver was beaten to death when his speeding vehicle claimed lives of three children in Kumharar locality under Agamkuan police station area here today.

Police said that the car hit four people on the roadside in Kumharar locality when its driver lost control over his vehicle due to high speed resulting in the death of three of them on the spot. The another person was also seriously injured in the mishap.

Sources said local people assembled at the spot and dragged out car driver and another occupant from the vehicle. The car driver was badly beaten by the mob leading to his death while another person also sustained serious injuries in the assault.

The deceased has been identified as Raju (11), Rohit (13) and Harendra (9). The injured had been admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). (UNI)
