Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said that change of jersey has ended India’s winning streak in the ICC world cup.

India, wearing orange jersey for the first time in the ICC, lost to England in Sunday’s match.

Taking to micro blogging site twitter president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba said “Pakistani cricket fans are rooting for India to win the match against England. Chalo kum say kum cricket ke bahaane, for a change both countries are on the same page. Call me superstitious but I’d say it’s the jersey that ended India’s winning streak in the ICC world cup 2019.” (UNI)
