Participate in Pranapratistha ceremony of Shri Ram temple on Jan 22: Hindu organisations to community

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Hindu right-wing organisations, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has appealed to the Hindu community to participate in all programmes to be held on occasion of the 'Pranapratistha' (installation) ceremony of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
 
Addressing a joint press conference here, Anil Bhalerao, Prant Sanghchalak (RSS), and Sanjay Bargaje, Prant President, (VHP), said that on January 22 in Ayodhya, a Nutan Balmurti (new small idol) of Lord Ram will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum in the newly constructed Shriram temple at Ayodhya.
 
On this occasion, both the RSS and the VHP have organised various religious programmes in every village in order to make this ceremony very grand.
 
They further said that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Nyasa has sent invitations to 8,000 prominent persons for celebration in Ayodhya.
 
About 4,000 acharyas, dharmacharyas, sadhus and saints of around 150 sects from all over the country will be present in this programme, they said and informed that among them will be 77 saints, mahants and dharmacharyas of Devagiri region.
 
They have made an appeal to people that on January 22, they should celebrate 'Anandostav' in their homes by drawing a beautiful rangoli in front of their house and lighting at least five lamps in the evening. (UNI)
