New Delhi: The hike in petrol and diesel prices continued for the 11th consecutive day on Thursday day amidst reports that the government was mulling steps to check it.
Petrol prices in Delhi were increased by 26 paise to Rs 77.47 per litre and diesel by 15 paise to Rs 68.53 per litre.
Diesel prices on the other hand, were hiked by 16 paise to Rs 72.96 per litre in Mumbai, according to Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the country's top refiner.
Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier said that the government was looking for ways to keep rising fuel prices in check.(UNI)
