Petrol price hiked for 7th straight day, crosses Rs 110-mark in Delhi

New Delhi: Petrol price continued to surge to record high levels on the seventh straight day on Tuesday.

In the national capital, the petrol price was increased by 35 paise to cost Rs 110.04 per litre.

However, there was no hike in diesel price (98.42 per litre).

In Kolkata, petrol price was hiked by 34 paise to cost Rs 110.49 per litre while a litre of diesel was retailed at Rs 101.56.

In Mumbai, a litre of petrol costs Rs 115.85 and diesel Rs 106.62.

In Chennai, a litre of petrol was available at Rs 106.66 while diesel at Rs 102.59.

Prices differ from state to state depending on the rate of local taxes. (UNI)
