New Delhi: Petrol prices in the National Capital shot to record high of Rs 84.20 per litre on Thursday. Petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the second day across the nation.
According to state-owned fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, the retail prices of petrol and diesel went up by 23 and 26 paise per litre to Rs 84.20 and Rs74.38 respectively in the National Capital.
The oil companies revised the fuel rates’ after a 29 days pause yesterday.
Now, people in the Commercial capital of the country (Mumbai) will have to pay Rs 90.60 for petrol.
