‘Please help me’: Indian student brutally attacked and robbed by assailants in Chicago (VIDEO)

Hyderabad: Syed Mazahir Ali, a student from Hyderabad pursuing a Master's degree at Indian Wesleyan University in Chicago, was brutally attacked by three assailants as he made his way from a hotel to his residence in Campbell.
 
Hailing from Langar House in Hyderabad, Syed suffered severe injuries to his head, nose, and mouth during the unprovoked assault. Displaying remarkable courage, he recorded the attack, including the assailants chasing him, and subsequently shared the video on social media.

According to family sources, the Indian Consulate in Chicago promptly responded to the incident, establishing contact with the victim and his family members. They have maintained constant communication, assured necessary cooperation, and received updates from the investigating officers.
