PM Modi, Amit Shah, others pay homage to Pulwama martyrs

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to martyrs of Pulwama and said the nation can never forget their supreme sacrifice.
 
Taking to twitter, the PM wrote, “Remembering our valorous heroes who we lost on this day in Pulwama."
 
"We will never forget their supreme sacrifice. Their courage motivates us to build a strong and developed India," Modi.
 
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to the micro blogging site, and paid homage to the martyrs.
 
"I pay homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the ghastly terror attack in Pulwama on this day in the year 2019. The nation can never forget their sacrifice," Shah said.
 
"Their valour and indomitable courage will always remain an inspiration in the fight against terrorism," he said.
 
The Defence Minister said , "My tributes to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019. The country salutes the courage and sacrifice of these soldiers. The entire country stands firmly with their families."
 
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in a tweet wrote, "We bow in reverence to the supreme sacrifice of the Pulwama martyrs. We remember their indomitable valour and courage in the service of the nation. Lest We Forget."
 
Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi in a tweet wrote, "India will always remember their supreme sacrifice." (UNI)
