PM Modi congratulates VP-elect CP Radhakrishnan, hails his commitment to public service

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his congratulations to Vice President-elect CP Radhakrishnan shortly after the results of the Vice-Presidential election were announced here.

Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister praised Radhakrishnan’s lifelong dedication to public service and expressed confidence in his future role.

“Congratulations to Thiru C.P. Radhakrishnan Ji on winning the 2025 Vice Presidential election,” Modi wrote.

“His life has always been devoted to serving society and empowering the poor and marginalised. I am confident that he will be an outstanding VP, who will strengthen our Constitutional values and enhance Parliamentary discourse,” he wrote.

Radhakrishnan, a veteran BJP leader from Tamil Nadu and current Governor of Maharashtra, is set to assume office as the 15th rpt 15th Vice President of India, also serving as the ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
