New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day.

In a post on social media platform X, Modi conveyed his best wishes to citizens across the country, expressing hope that the occasion would infuse new energy and inspiration in the collective journey towards building a developed India.

The Prime Minister wrote, “Wishing everyone a very happy Independence Day. May this day inspire us to keep working even harder to realise the dreams of our freedom fighters and build a Viksit Bharat. Jai Hind!”
