PM Modi leaves for Papua New Guinea on second leg of visit

New Delhi/Hiroshima: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday concluded two days of hectic bilateral and multilateral engagements with key partners in Hiroshima, including attending the G7 Summit, and left for Papua New Guinea for the Third Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit.
 
Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet that his visit to Japan has been fruitful and he met several leaders during the G7 Summit and discussed a variety of issues with them.
 
“It has been a fruitful visit to Japan. Met several world leaders during the G-7 Summit and discussed a variety of issues with them.
 
 
The MEA spokesperson in tweets said:
 
“Wrapping up an action packed visit!
 
“PM @narendramodi concludes his visit to Japan following two days of intense bilateral & multilateral engagements with key partners.
 
 
"After a successful visit to Japan, PM @narendramodi emplanes for Papua New Guinea, for the second leg of his three-nation tour.
 
“PM @narendramodi is on his way to Port Moresby to chair the 3rd Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit.” (UNI)
