New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid heartfelt tribute to all the brave souls who participated in the Quit India Movement under the inspiring leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.

He emphasised that their courage and sacrifice remain a shining example of patriotism and dedication to the nation’s freedom.

In a message posted on X , Modi stated:

"We remember with deep gratitude all those brave people who, under the inspiring leadership of Bapu, took part in the Quit India Movement. Their courage lit a spark of patriotism that united countless people in the quest for freedom."
