New Delhi: In a touching tribute to nature and motherhood, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday planted a Kadamba sapling at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. The sapling, gifted by King Charles III of the United Kingdom on the occasion of Modi’s 75th birthday, was planted with the spirit of honoring the earth—our universal mother.

The Kadamba tree symbolizes the enduring friendship between India and the UK and stands as a reminder of shared responsibility between the two countries towards environmental sustainability and nurturing life.
