PM, Prez and VP greets nation on Festival of Dussehra

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi  extended greetings to all the countrymen on the occasion of 'Vijayadashami' and  'Mahanavami'.


''Best wishes to all the countrymen on Vijayadashami. May this festival of victory of good over evil and truth over untruth bring new inspiration in everyone's life,'' the Prime Minister said in a tweet in Hindi.
 
Earlier, the Prime Minister extended greetings to all the countrymen on the occasion of  'Mahanavami'.In a tweet in Hindi, the Prime Minister said, ''Heartiest greetings to the countrymen on Mahanavami. 
 
Prez, VP greet nation on occasion of Dussehera
 
New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday extended greeting on the occasion of Dussehera to all countrymen. 
 
In a tweet, the President said, ''Greetings and good wishes to fellow citizens on Dussehra. This festival symbolises the triumph of good over evil. May this festival of joy and happiness protect us from the evil effects of the ongoing pandemic and bring prosperity and affluence to the people of the country.''
 
In a series of tweets, the Vice-President said, ''I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Celebrated with great fervour and zeal all over the country, #Dussehra symbolizes the victory of good over evil.
 
''Dussehra is an occasion for family and friends to come together and celebrate. But this year, due to COVID-19 pandemic, I urge my fellow citizens to celebrate #Dussehra in a modest way by strictly adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
 
''May this festival bring peace, harmony, good health and prosperity in the nation. #HappyDussehra #Dussehra2020.''(UNI)
