PM, Prez, VP salutes Civil Servants for relentless efforts in making India COVID-free

New Delhi:President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Civil Servants and their families, and paid tributes to Sardar Patel on Civil Services Day.
''Today, on Civil Services Day, I convey greetings to all Civil Servants and their families. I appreciate their efforts in ensuring India successfully defeats COVID-19. They are working round-the-clock, assisting those in need and ensuring everyone is healthy,'' Mr Modi said in a statement here.

BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda extended his greeting to all civil servants and their families on Civil Services Day and saluted the unwavering dedication to public service, governance and relentless efforts in making India a COVID-19 free nation.''I salute your unwavering dedication to public service, governance & excellence and your relentless efforts in making India a COVID-19 free nation, he said in his missive.''On Civil Services Day, we salute the 'Steel Frame of India' for their exemplary service to the nation. 
 
''You are also at the forefront of our battle against Coronavirus, working round the clock with full dedication and determination to defeat it,'' said BJP's Twitter handle.Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal saluted all civil servants, who were serving the nation with diligence, hard work and efficacy.''I specially laud them for rising to the occasion with utmost dedication & promptness in our fight against Coronavirus,'' he tweeted.
 
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said ''On Civil Services Day, we all appreciate the enormous contribution of countless civil servants. Their collective efforts are today helping the nation to combat Coronavirus. The entire nation values their work.''Wishing all, the IAS Association said, ''The vision of our founding fathers is echoing in Civil Servants leading fight against COVID-19. We rededicate ourselves to the Service of Nation and Humanity as Corona Warriors.''(UNI)
