New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be unveiling a life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at the Jawaharlal Nehru University on Thursday.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, JNU Vice-Chancellor Jagdish Kumar posted, ''Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at the JNU campus on November 12, via video-conferencing.''
Swami Vivekananda was a noted and influential spiritual teacher.He represented India at the World Religion General Assembly, held in Chicago, US in 1893.Vivekananda was also the founder of Ramakrishna Mission.(UNI)
